Description

Ganesha, also known as Ganapati, Vinayaka, Pilliyar, and Binayak is one of the most worshipped deities in Hinduism. Ganesha is known as the god of new beginnings, success, remover of obstacles, the patron of arts and science as well as the deva of intellect and wisdom. Ganesha's elephant head makes him easy to identify in Hindu legends and art. Ganesha is also widely worshipped by Jains and Buddhists.
