Description
Islamic calligraphy is an artistic practice of handwriting or crafting the Arabic alphabet that usually recites chapters and verses from the Islamic Holy Book, the Qur'an. Arabic calligraphy is arguably one the of the major forms of artistic expression in Islamic cultures. Calligraphy is applied to a wide range of decorative mediums such as paper, tiles, carpets, textiles and more.
Translation: "For who believed, seek help by praying and being patient because God is with the patient."
